Over the years, the northern coastal area of Mallorca, particularly near Soller, has been well known for the paranormal activities that are reported there. Quite a number of UFO sightings have been reported in these areas. Many investigations had also been carried out by Spanish and European experts.
After a decrease in such activities during few years in the past, the number of such reports has suddenly increased during last week. A leading expert from Deya said that many sightings were reported last week in the Canary Island and also specified that on Monday, a spherical object, flying very slowly, was seen near Deya and then, it travelling out to the sea. The reports said that an illuminated white sphere suddenly appeared and moved very slowly form land towards the sea and also that it was visible from Soller too.
Thursday night was the last time this UFO was seen and it was reported that the main spherical object was followed by a smaller illuminated object.
The expert informed that these sightings are in no way related to the sighting last week of shooting stars over San Lorenzo. After observation and research, she said that it was definitely not a satellite, neither was it a star since it was moving too slow. Further, after consulting the Control Centre at Puig Major and the planetarium, she concluded that it has to be a UFO. She said: “We might be at the beginning of a new era of supernatural and UFO activity in Majorca and in other parts of Spain”.
